This week’s Disney Bounding look is brought to you by the villainous Captain Hook. While it’s fun to get glamorous, glitzy and girly as a princess, it’s that much more fun to step out of the box and into the dark side as a villain. So this week, we’re switching it up!
When starting to piece together this look, we were set on tracking down a military inspired, tailored blazer with metallic or gold accents. In our finds, we ultimately decided to stray away from any Michael Jackson confusions by going with a gorgeous red blazer cape. It looks just as refined and militaryesque but without the cliche. To add a few feminine touches, we chose this beautiful Anne Klein ruffle blouse that when layered underneath the cape, will demand everyone’s attention.
Next we selected a tailored trouser crop to continue with the refined regal of a Captain. We chose red to go with the cape (and we love to match) but you could also go for purple to coordinate with the purple wide brim hat.
Accessories include a pocket watch necklace because we don’t want you to look lost at sea with no sense of time! You can stow away your maps and treasure in this neat leather crossbody satchel. If you’re going to be walking the plank, you need comfortable shoes. We cannot speak enough amazing things about the Sam Edelman Petty booties. They are a closet staple! For Captain Hook’s look, we selected the black leather booties.
